Isaac C Hill

Isaac "Ike" C. Hill, 72, of Homeworth passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at his home. Ike was born on October 27, 1946 in Alliance to the late Shephard and Rosa Belle (Grimes) Hill. Ike was a United States Marine Veteran and the National Guard. He was a member of Beloit Friends Church, the Lions Club where he served as president and a Mason with Conrad Lodge 271. He was a member of Damascus Volunteer Fire Department. When Ike was not volunteering his time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, tending to his garden, cooking and baking. He enjoyed music and could play any instrument; Brazilian Cashews and coffee. Most of all Ike put his family first and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Ike is survived by his wife Joretta (Close) Hill; children Mark A. Hill, Ryan M. (Mary Beth) Hill and Lori Jo Hill; grandchildren Nicholas "Bubba" A. (Christianna) Kunkle, Destiny N. Posey, Briana M. Hunt and Danielle L. Seymour; great-grandchildren Jacob Isaac and Julianna Irene Kunkle; sisters Violet R. (Roy) Nichols and Jet Ann (Gary) Porter; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Ike was preceded in death by sisters Blanche Puckett and Roberta Mellott; brothers Herbert, Phil and Shephard Jr. and a special nephew Harold Court.

A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Beloit Evangelical Friends Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Reich officiating. Friends and family will be received on Monday, September 9, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home and the hour prior to the service on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. A Masonic service will take place on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 8:00 PM at the funeral home by the Conrad Lodge 271. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Beloit.
