Gregory Edwin Morris, 54 of Sebring, Ohio passed away on June 26, 2018 after a brief illness.
Greg was born on Feb. 27, 1964 in Salem, OH to Clyde & Paula (Doll) Morris. He graduated from David Anderson High School in 1982 where he was part of the basketball & football teams.
Greg has been a hard worker all of his life. Greg started delivering newspapers when he was 8 years old and then in high school he worked at a bowling alley, at the pie factory, and he was a lifeguard.
Greg honorably served in the US Navy as an anti submarine warfare data processor tech. He also worked at Carriage Hill foods for 14 years and was a faithful employee to Land O’ Lakes for 20 years.
Greg married his wife & best friend Lori (Conner) Morris of Sebring, Ohio on Oct. 15th 1988. They loved traveling together all over the United States; trying to make sure they would see & do something in every state.
An avid sports fan, Greg loved playing golf, & watching the Bengals, Ohio State, Cleveland Indians & Cleveland Cavaliers. He loved sitting on his deck with his feet up listening to the radio. Greg coached his daughters in sports while they were growing up, softball & soccer in particular. He was a member of the Sebring Presbyterian Church, & Lisbon Masonic Temple.
Greg is survived his wife of 30 years, Lori Morris and their two daughters Morgan (Chris ) Kinser & Ryann (Josiah Rouse) Pizzedaz both of Sebring; mother Paula Morris of Lisbon; six granddaughters and one grandson, Camryn Lynn, Leah Mae, Delaney Mae, Lyla Ann, Valin Alexander, Raylee Morgan & Elora Gemma; one sister Peggy Fast of Leetonia; several nieces & nephews as well as a large support of family and friends.
Greg was preceded in death by his father Clyde Morris; brother Gary Morris and grandparents Kenny & Clara Morris and William & Lucille Doll.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at 5:00 PM with Pastor Martin Radcliff officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Pegasus Farm Equestrian Center 7490 Edison St NE, Hartville, OH 44632 or Sebring Presbyterian Church 525 N 16th St, Sebring, OH 44672.
