Evelyn Jean (King) Boehm

December 17, 1940 — February 8, 2019

Evelyn "Jean" Boehm 78 of Alliance passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019, at Altercare of Alliance. She was born in Marietta, Ohio on December 17, 1940, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Kathryn (Strauss) King. She attended Alliance Beauty School, and after raising her family she worked at Green Farms and retired from Coastal Pet after 26 years of service. She enjoyed baking, and sewing but most importantly spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her four children; Bruce (Sheri) Boehm, Brian (Nicolle) Boehm, Barry (Janet) Boehm, Pamela (Michael) Shaver all of Alliance eight grandchildren, Alissa Pierson, Will Boehm, Kate Boehm, Zachary Boehm, Jordan Boehm, Jaclyn Shaver, Alexandra Shaver, and Troy Shaver, a sister Dorothy Robson and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Boehm on July 7, 2003, and two siblings.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. Memorial contributions can be made in Jean's honor to the charity of the donor's choice. A special thanks to the nursing staff at Altercare of Alliance for the care they showed.
