Ernest Wilson, 72 of Salem passed away at Salem Community Hospital on Sunday, December 22, 2013. Ernest was born in Fenwick, West Virginia on August 7, 1941 the son of the late Woodrow C. and Arlita (Hamrick) Wilson.
Survivors include his two daughters; Melissa (Luke) Huff, Valerie Shaffer and a son Michael Wilson all of Salem, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 brothers; Michael D., Doug, John and 2 sisters; Jane M. Chips, and Carol Reynolds. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Sandra J. Wilson on July 21, 2010, a son-in-law and a granddaughter.
A private funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the funeral home. Friends and family may sign the guest register online at www.brownfhonline.com. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Salem, OH (330) 337-6363.
