Ellen Jane Conway, affectionately known as Janie, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2024, in Canton, Ohio, at the age of 80. Born on July 2, 1943, in Beloit, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of the late James and Ruth (Baugher) Graham.

Janie's heart was full of devotion to her family, which was her greatest pride and joy. She was the beloved wife of the late Gilbert "Gil" Conway, to whom she was married on April 11, 1964. Their union was a testament to enduring love, and together they created a life full of cherished memories until Gil's passing on April 17, 2014. Janie was also preceded in death by her daughters, Terri Conway and Shelly Masters, as well as her five siblings, whose memories she held close to her heart.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, including her son, Mark Conway and his wife, Diana; son-in-law John Masters and his partner, Corrina Carrozzi; her adored grandchildren, Taylor Glenn and her husband, Nick; Megan Masters and her partner Quin Tralick; Bass Conway and his partner, Kaylee McClure; Annie Rivera and her husband, Nomar; Derek Masters; Emilia Gonzalez; and Nick Conway and his partner, Chandler McKinney; Natalya Carrozzi as well as her cherished great-grandchildren, Naomi, Nyah, Roy'el, Mateo, and Kaden. Each of them brought immense joy to Janie's life, and she took great pride in their every achievement and milestone.

Janie's dedication to helping others was evident through her work as a Nursing Assistant at Horizon Meadows, where she provided care and comfort to many throughout her career. She was known for her compassion, warmth, and the tender care she offered to all those she served.

Janie's interests and hobbies were a reflection of her vibrant spirit. She had a sharp mind and enjoyed the challenge of puzzles and word searches. She relished the moments spent poring over photos of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each picture a treasured memory. Janie was also an avid fan of Burger King, with a particular fondness for Whoppers, which she enjoyed throughout her life.

In her earlier years, Janie was an active individual with a passion for bowling and archery, activities that brought her much joy and camaraderie. She also found solace in tending to her garden, where she nurtured not only plants but also her spirit.

As we bid farewell to Janie, we celebrate a life well-lived, a life filled with love, laughter, and the joy of family. Her spirit will forever be a guiding light for her family, a beacon of the love and strength she so effortlessly embodied. Janie's journey through life was a testament to her resilience, her grace, and the unbreakable bonds of family she cherished above all else.
