Diana Louise Fankhauser, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, in Canton, Ohio. Born on October 9, 1947, in Canton, Ohio, Diana's life was a testament to devotion, kindness, and the joy of family and faith.

Diana dedicated much of her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, a path enriched and shared with her daughter, through which she touched many lives with compassion and care. Her professional life was marked by a commitment to serving others, reflecting the warmth and dedication she extended to everyone she encountered.

Diana found great pleasure in bingo, cultivating her love for flowers and gardening, and exploring thrift shopping-activities that brought her joy. She was a great hostess, always delighted to welcome friends and family into her home.

Faith played a central role in her life. Diana was actively involved in her church community at Friends Church in Damascus, Ohio, and maintained a deep connection to Fellowship Church in Englewood, Florida, where she spent winters as a snowbird. Her participation in Bible Study groups was a source of spiritual nourishment and fellowship.

Diana's family was her pride and joy. She is survived by her four children: Susie (Hank) Hoover, Joey (Greg) Adams, Jimmy (Lisa) Conway, and Buddy (Wendy) Fankhauser, eleven grandchildren-Katie (Warren) Harbaugh, James Hoover, Henry Hoover, Amber (Brian) Hawthorne, Ryan (Sarah) Adams, Courtney Conway, Kyle (Nikki) Conway, Kaitlin Conway, Emily (Ryan) Kohmann, Evan Fankhauser, and Aubry Fankhauser and eleven great-grandchildren. Additionally, her brothers Larry (Jane) Deem and Bill Deem survive her. Diana was preceded in death by her dear parents, Earl and Dorothy (Kokovich) Deem, her sister Linda Deem, and her former husband Jim Conway.

A Celebration of her life will be held on July 11, 2026 at Damascus Community Park, 164 Georgetown-Damascus Rd. Salem, Ohio 44460 at 12:30 PM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Sebring Chapel (330) 938-2526, www.grfuneralhome.com.
