Deborah Davies Edling

Debbie Davies Edling, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, in Beloit, Ohio, just days before her 71st birthday. Born on July 26, 1955, in Alliance, Ohio, Debbie was a source of steadfast love and generosity to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered as a best friend, willing to help anyone in need. However she was a "No Frills" lady and enjoyed the quiet simple life. Debbie previously worked as a dispatcher for the Sebring Police Department, as well as serving as a notary public for various area auto dealerships.

Debbie's life was richly blessed by the family she cherished. She is survived by her devoted husband, Tom Edling, whose partnership and love were a constant throughout their years together. Debbie's nurturing spirit lives on through her daughter, Christy Hoopes, and son-in-law, Jason Hoopes, as well as her son, Judson Edling. Her unwavering support and care shaped the lives of her grandchildren: Andrew Conoboy, Jarred Hoopes, Raiden Edling, and Daija Edling, each of whom brought Debbie immeasurable joy and pride.

Family bonds were central to Debbie's life. She is survived by her brother, Gary Davies, and sister-in-law, Sharon Davies, her brother, Jason Barthalow, and sister-in-law, Janet Barthalow, as well as lots and lots of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Debbie is reunited in rest with her father, Larry Davies; her mother, Darylene McLaughlin; and her brother, Mark Davies, whose memories she held dearly.

Throughout her life, Debbie exemplified kindness and dedication to her family and loved ones. The gentle strength with which she approached every challenge and her unwavering support of those around her stood as a testament to her character. Her loving presence will be profoundly missed, but her memory and legacy will endure in the hearts of all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Park, located at 12th Street, Beloit, Ohio 44609, on July 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM with Pastor Mark Reich officiating.
