Carol Ann Keil, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, in Austintown, Ohio, at the age of 82.
Born on August 1, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Carol was the cherished daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice Rohleder. Throughout her life, Carol was guided by her deep compassion, unwavering commitment to her family, and enduring faith. Her presence enriched the lives of all who knew her. She loved to craft including sewing and needlework, as well as collecting family history through her photo albums, gardening and flowers, however most important was to be around her family.
Carol devoted her life to her family and was a pillar of support, encouragement, and love. She is survived by her devoted husband, Joseph Keil, with whom she shared many years of partnership and memories. Together, they raised three sons, Mark Keil, Gary (Bridget) Keil, and Joe (Amy) Keil. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Cherish, Dustin (Katy), Joe Jr., Kelly, Nikolaus, and Max, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Carol also delighted in the joy and vitality of her great-grandchildren, Sophia, Mila, and Dustin Joseph, whose lives she graced with love and kindness.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Beatrice Rohleder, whose memory she treasured and honored throughout her lifetime.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a public viewing on July 30, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 126 W Vermont Ave, Sebring, Ohio. A Mass celebrating Carol's life will be held on July 31, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, 323 S. 15th St., Sebring, Ohio. Burial will take place at Deerfield Cemetery, Deerfield, Ohio.
