Carl Dean Anderson, beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, in Canton, Ohio, at the age of 68. He was born on February 27, 1957, in Ft. Scott, Kansas.
Carl proudly served in the United States Navy as a Radar Engineer, where he developed a strong sense of duty and commitment. This experience shaped not only his professional life but also his career and character, instilling in him the importance of service and dedication. This encouraged him to pursue an associate degree in Electronics from the University of Akron.
He and his wife attended Faith Family Church, Carl's faith was a cornerstone of his life. He found joy and solace in reading the scriptures, which provided guidance and strength during both challenging and happy times.
Carl had a profound love for his family. He is survived by his cherished wife, Debbie (Keen) Anderson, whom he married on May 26, 1984. Their bond was a testament to love and companionship, and together they built a life filled with shared experiences and cherished memories. He also leaves behind their son, Gregory Anderson. Carl is preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.
Outside of his professional commitments, Carl enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests. He found great pleasure in watching college football, listening to classic rock music, playing cards, and spending quality time with his family. Carl was particularly hands-on, taking pride in maintaining his home and working on electronics, a passion that extended beyond his professional life.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a viewing at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring, Ohio, on February 2, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. The address for the funeral home is 126 W. Vermont Ave., Sebring, OH 44672. Burial will take place in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
