Bonnie Reinhardt

Bonnie Mae Reinhardt of Salem, Ohio passed away on Monday September 16, 2024. Born February 13, 1943, to Grandville and Betty Smith. Bonnie served her country in the Navy and enjoyed telling stories about hurricane parties with her military comrades during her time in the service. She married Keith Reinhardt in November 1970 after she walked up and kissed him the very first time they met proclaiming loudly that he was her soulmate. They enjoyed 39 blissful years of marriage.She was employed at Worthington Custom Plastics/Blackhawk for over 30 years as a tow motor operator. She took in anyone in need, and that included stray cats that she coaxed into her care.

She was a firecracker and had no issues telling it exactly how it was, or what you needed to hear, even when it wasn't what you wanted to hear. She was an avid Bingo winner making her car a mass collection of daubers and 3M tape. She also loved shopping trips to NY, and she took EVERYONE shopping at a moments notice, often on 8 hour journeys, especially during prom season.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter Chrissy Sue Lobdell, her best friend and soul child Christopher Colbert, her sister Shirley (Chuck) Baird, 2 brothers, Richard Smith, and Ronald Smith. She is survived by 2 daughters, Cindy Lobdell, and Pauleisha Russo (Pish), 2 sisters, Janet Thomas, and Sonya Hunter. Grandchildren, Jeff (Lexi) Mason, Randy (Tabby) Mason, Craig (Yoda) Mason, Thomas Jackson, Amanda (Eric) Gottsabend, Ian Russo, and Brandy Russo. 5 great grandchildren and lest we not forget, 9 nieces who adored her. She will be greatly missed by all of us, but happy in the knowledge that she is reunited with Keith, Chrissy, Ronnie, Shirley and Richard.

There will be no formal services, in lieu of flowers, donations memorial contributions can be made in Bonnie's honor to Hospice of the Valley.
