Beverly Jean McCoy, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026. Born on September 25, 1944, in Salem, Ohio, Beverly lived a full life imbued with warmth and dedication to those she loved.
A devoted daughter of the late Charles and Phyllis (Hawkins) Green, Beverly grew up on Pancake Hill in Salem, where she cultivated a love for the simple joys of life. Her interests were many, including a passion for Bingo, the thrill of lottery tickets, and treasured moments spent visiting with family. Beverly was also a lifelong member of the Salem Eagles, an organization close to her heart.
Her adventurous spirit found joyful expression at the Quakercity Drag Strip, where she shared treasured times with her late husband, James McCoy. With a fondness for Camaros and the vibrant energy of the racetrack, Beverly's life was marked by both action and deep connection.
Beverly's family was at the center of her world. Though she mourned the loss of her husband James McCoy, partner Bill Hines, and her beloved children Tim "Tiny" McCoy and Toby McCoy, her legacy lives on through those she leaves behind. She is survived by her brothers Charles (Sherry) Green and William Green; her son Bradly (Arlena) McCoy; grandchildren Corie (Taylor) Murdoch, Alex and Cara Jean. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Karson and Keagan Murdoch. Beverly also cherished the unwavering support of her niece Bobbi Jo; her sister-in-law Kathy and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A special thank you is extended to Windsor House of Canfield for their compassion and care, which brought comfort during Beverly's final days.
