Bernice Reese

Bernice I. Reese, 85 of Salem and formerly of Beloit passed away on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at Pleasant View North in Salem. Bernice was born in Knox Township, Columbiana County on October 21, 1925 the daughter of the late Harvey and Adella (Stanley) Galbreath. She enjoyed taking care of her family and their many activities they were involved in. Survivors include her seven children; Barbara (Norman) McGibbon of Brushton, NY, a son Harold Reese of Salem, a daughter Elaine Reese of Beloit, a daughter Gayla (William) Houshour of Damascus, a son Howard Reese of Beloit, a daughter Louise (David) Pyatt of Alliance, a son Darin Reese of Beloit, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Norman Reese on May 17, 2002 a brother Vernon E. Galbreath and a sister Verda E. Carter. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 11AM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Kimball officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 30th from 6-8 PM and the half hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
