Beatrice Ritchey

Bea Ritchey was born in Lorain, Ohio on November 3, 1932, to Alexander and Elizabeth Barlis. She graduated from Niles High School in Niles, Ohio and went on to a career in sales in Youngstown, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh. She was manager and chief financial officer at the Architectural firm of Diter, Ritchey, and Sipple.

She married Dahlen Ritchey and they had a beautiful life together of love, respect, and many happy years together. Dahl always painted a picture for Bea on her Birthday, and always wrote a little love letter on each telling her of his love. Thiers was a true love story and a joy to behold.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Dahl and Sister Beth Long, and her sister-in-law Carol Barlis. She leaves behind her brother Allan with whom she had a special connection and his children and grandchildren. Brother Glenn and his wife Terri and their children and grandchildren. Sister Beth's children, and beloved cousins and friends.

We will remember her smile and the joy she loved being with family. We just hope in Heaven there is a bowl full of her little candy bars. She will only take two at a time, but no one will tell how many visits she will make! She is now at peace with the God she so adored and loved so faithfully.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring, Ohio.
