Obituary

Virginia ( Ginny ) Lee Ravelli 88 of Salem passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salem. Virginia was born in Alliance, Ohio on September 8, 1931 the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Kirk) Bell. Virginia worked as a Cashier at Quaker City IGA until her retirement. She was a member of St. Ann 's Catholic Church In Sebring Ohio. Her only hobby and pastime were her husband and beloved family.

Celebrations were routine for Ginny and Ray, starting with a surprise 40th wedding anniversary, then a surprise 49th anniversary including a chartered flight with her immediate family to Winchester Virginia where they were married in 1948, then another surprise at their home for their 50th with most of Beloit, their home for over 50 years, in attendance, then another celebration on their 60th At Mohican State Park, and they only fell short 6 months of their 70th due to Ray's passing.

One of Ginny's most prized memories was an appearance with her husband in the movie "In Her Shoes" starring Cameron Diaz. The brief parts of the movie as extras were full center screen and an exciting moment for both who had always lived a modest life but were rich with friends and family and loved to dance.

Survivors include her three sons; Paul (Diana) Ravelli of Salem, Sidney (Marlene) Ravelli of Salem, and George (Andrea) Ravelli of Dayton. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a sister Helen Mae Warren of Alliance.
