Sylvia Cline Obituary

Sylvia J. Cline made her journey home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday morning.

Sylvia was born October 16, 1933 in Point Pleasant, WV. to Goldia (Love) and Richard Willcoxen. She graduated in 1951 from Point Pleasant High School and began work at GC Murphy 5&10 then worked as a telephone operator both in Point Pleasant and Alliance.

One evening while walking to a bonfire a young man drove past in his 1934 Plymouth. Ma let out her famous whistle, her sister said to her "wouldn't it be funny if he turned into the party" and the rest is history. Love blossomed. Robert L. Cline and Sylvia J. Willcoxen were married on April 26, 1952 and celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Sylvia was a member of Sebring Friends Church and faithful servant of the Lord. She served as Treasurer, Trustee, Teacher and Prayer Warrior spanning many years. She was a Girl Scout Leader for the Ohezeu Neighborhood- The Mingo District; volunteered at Pegasus Farms of Hartville. Sylvia and Robert could be seen on the auction circuit hunting treasure. She was a faithful attendee of Ponderosa Park.

She was employed as a bus driver for West Branch School District serving the children and youth of the district for 34 years. Sylvia instilled in her children and grandchildren a Love of the Lord being a servant wherever she could serve, a strong work ethic to always do the best job and be at work every day.
