Sara E. (Stanley) Lee

Sara E. Lee, 94, of Sebring passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring. Sara was born in Beloit on December 26, 1923 the daughter of the late Frank J. and Helen E. (Gunder) Stanley. She was a 1941 graduate of Sebring High School and was the Owner/Operator of Norge Village in Alliance for 20 years retiring in 1989, she was a member of Pine Lake Christian Church, and worked as a volunteer at the Sebring Concern, the Alliance Pregnancy Center and the Thrift Shop at Copeland Oaks.



Survivors include her children; Sharon Ann (Paul) Hobe of Louisville, Dennis (Charlotte) Lee of Newark, Ohio, Richard (Betty) Lee of Cincinnati. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Geoffrey (Teresa) Hobe, Greg (Jennifer) Hobe, Sara (Craig) Mehl, Craig (Deanna) Lee, Bricely Lee, Shannon (Chris) O'Connell and Jennella (Elliott) Keegan as well as ten great grandchildren; Abigail and Brendan Hobe, Lauren and Alexander Hobe, Cailin O’Connell, Sarah Beth and David Lee, Myra Mehl and Elise and Nora Keegan as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Donald whom she married on July 8, 1942 and passed on April 5, 1994, sisters Mildred Cooper and Dorothy Bowersock. The family would like to thank the Staff of Crandall Medical Center for the wonderful care they have taken of their beloved mother.



A Celebration of Sara’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Pine Lake Christian Church at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held the hour prior to the service at the Church from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
