Robert Lee Obituary

Robert E. Lee, “Breezy”, 74, of Sebring, OH entered into eternal rest Monday, February 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 17, 1943 in Alliance, OH to the late Paul and Loretta (Panunzio) Lee, a 1961 graduate of Sebring Mckinley High School and life-time resident of Sebring. Robert was employed by General Motors of Lordstown, OH for 32 years retiring in 1994 then later worked at the Smith TWP Recycling Ctr. for 4 yrs. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church where he participated in many aspects of the church, served as a member of many local clubs/organizations including, UAW Local 1112, Masonic Lodge No. 626 of Sebring and became a 32 Degree Master Mason of the Scottish Rite Valley of Canton, a member of the Alliance Shrine Club and Tadmore Shrine where he served on the Akron Director’s Staff, Roma Society Club of Alliance, Alliance Elks, Loyal Order of Moose of Alliance, American Legion, VFW and Dante’s Club of Alliance.

Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoying many excursions locally and in Canada with his son and friends. A big sports fan, he loved watching all professional and collegiate sports, especially the Cleveland major sports teams and his beloved Ohio State Buckeye’s. But most important was being able to spend time with his family and friends.

Robert is survived by his wife Nancy (Marckel) Lee of 53 yrs., daughters Gina (Byron Lawson) Lee, Lisa (Randy White) Martin and Angela (Russ Stull) Nieman, son Robert (Kaitlyn Taschwer) Lee, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Carol (Richard) Hutton and Patricia Stillwagon, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother in law Carl Stillwagon. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Alliance Hospice for their support and care through Robert’s illness.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring. Calling hours will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home, 126 West Vermont Avenue, Sebring, OH 44672 on Friday, February 23rd from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM with family present from 6-8 PM a Rosary Service will be held at 8:00 PM. A Masonic Service will be held on Friday at the funeral home at 5:30 PM. There will also be a time of visitation at the funeral home on Saturday before the mass from 9:30-10:30 AM. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alliance Shrine Club Transportation Unit, 11470 Homestead Ave. Alliance, OH 44601 and Alliance Hospice, 2461 W. State St., Alliance, OH 44601.
