Michael Robert Scott

Michael Robert Scott, 67 of Sebring passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Aultman Hospital in Canton. Michael was born in Ravenna, Ohio on February 19, 1952, the son of the late Oakey and Magdaline (McRobie) Scott Sr. He worked with his family at Scott Drilling and Alliance Wholesalers. Mike enjoyed spending time outdoors especially riding his motorcycle, camping, fishing and hiking. He also enjoyed listening to Country Music and once even played bass guitar in a band.

Survivors include his fiancee Georgia Transue, his children; Todd ( fiancée Josette Miller) Barchalk, Mary (Ted) Ormiston, Amy Joy (John McMasters) Scott; 8 grandchildren Olivia, Zackery, Dominic, Kyle, Travis, Blake, Austin and Emma. He is also survived by two sisters Clara Jane Gotshall, Barbara Jean Brown and a brother Walter (Linda) Scott, as well as former spouse and friend Donna Scott. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by sisters Anna Mae Sigler, Birdie Lou Stevens, brother Oakey Jr and former spouse and friend Robyn Davies.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring with Pastors Darrell Doerschuk and Glen Thompson of Unity Christian Ministries co-officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and the half hour prior to the service on Thursday, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
