Judy Ann (Galbreath) Greenawalt, 84, of Beloit passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Salem West Healthcare Center. Judy was born on February 3, 1935 in North Georgetown to the late Wilson Lee and Esther LaVerne (Stoller) Galbreath. Judy was a sport enthusiast who loved to golf and bowl. She enjoyed going to many sporting events that included her grandchildren, as well as various other West Branch events. She was also an avid Mount Union, Cleveland, and Ohio State sports fan. She participated in a Card Club for over 60 years with many of her cherished friends. But most importantly, Judy loved spending time with her family and friends.
Judy is survived by her husband of 66 years Sam Greenawalt; her children Lori (Craig) Hotchkiss of Salem, Linda (Robert) Davis of Beloit, Mike (Lucinda) Greenawalt of Alliance, Kevin (Pam) Greenawalt of North Benton, Tim (Teresa) Greenawalt of Alliance, and Steve (Linda) Greenawalt of Jacksonville Beach, FL. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, a brother, Bruce Galbreath of Goshen, IN, a sister Patty Marty of Salem, Ohio, and two sisters-in-law, Ramona Greenawalt of Strongsville and Edna Greenawalt of Beloit.
The family would like to thank the many caregivers at Salem West and the Aultman Hospice Care, especially Jan Fugate, for their loving care of Judy.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Kahler officiating. Friends will be received the hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
