Juanita "Sunnie" H. Hoffman 92 of Salem passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Sunnie was born in Alliance on March 6, 1926 the daughter of the late Ira-Lee and Grace Florence (Marley) Whaley. She was employed as Secretary to the Vice President the Eaton Corporation for many years and then began a career of over 14 years in the Activities Department of Essex of Salem retiring at the early age of 87. She will be remembered as a person enjoyed working with people and helping them with whatever they needed.

She is survived by her daughter Linda Schultz of Salem, 2 Granddaughters, Jennifer Holden and Victoria Wright a great granddaughter Warner Holden and 3 great grandsons Darius Wright, Noah Wright and Connor Wright. She is also survived by a sister Betty Yonkers of NJ. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by 2 brothers Marvin and Harlod Whaley and a sister Mary Brown.
