To my Scarpitti cousins, you have my deepest sympathy with Aunt Josie's passing.
I always remember the trips to Sebring for Sunday dinner. Pasta enough to feed a
football team. Of course with 16 children and 4 adults, we had the team. May Uncle
Carl and Aunt Josie find each other now.

Josie and Carl Scarpitti helped me and so many others to make it through and get to where we were meant to be and were true supporters of kids and people and gave of themselves and shared what they had to make a difference and change lives. Thank you to both of you and to your entire family. I can still see you in my mind sitting on the top row of the bleachers cheering on the Trojans.

What a fun lady. We liked so many things about her. Of course there were the Spitzels. Someone in the family gave me some of her fabric because I am a seamstress. Every time I open the box of fabric, I think of Josie and love her.

My condolences to the entire Scarpitti Family. Mrs.Scarpitti was a real sweetheart to me from the time I was a young kid to the time I left as a Senior. Always kind with a "Hello" or "How are you, David?"

She was also a tough cookie. I remember my Mom working as a CDM-Certified Dietary Manager in both Malone and Mount Union Universities and the heavy pots and pans with amounts of food and liquids that made them even heavier and the number of young people she helped cook for is exactly what Mrs. Scarpitti did for all of those years.

It isn't an easy job, next to the different menus different dishes cooked in one day can weigh on you. It was done every day that really defines her as a very hard working lady and someone who was always hustling. I appreciated her just for her kindness and after the experiences with Mom I appreciate her even more for what she did. May God Bless and Keep You and Your Entire Family, Mrs. Scarpitti!!

Sincerely,

David Bush
