Joseph Vincent Tucker

Joseph V. Tucker, 85 of Sebring passed away on August 22, 2018 at Copeland Oaks. Joseph was born on May 3, 1933 in Sebring, Ohio, the son of the late Stephen V. and Mary C. Tucker. He was a graduate of Mount Union College and Youngstown State University. He was employed by the West Branch School system where he served as a Teacher, Coach, AD and Principal. He was an active member of St. Ann's Church in Sebring, Ohio.

Joseph is survived by his children; Joseph David (LuAnn Shuster) Tucker of Lakewood, OH, daughter Dr. Patricia (Mathew Lansell) Tucker of Alliance and son Mark Tucker of Alliance. He is also survived by four sisters, Mary Ellen Tucker, Dolores (Joseph) Nocera, Rita (the late Elmer) Kutie, Elizabeth (the late Thomas) Jones and brother Stephen Francis (Phyllis) Tucker. He is also survived by seven grandchildren Kellianne Tucker, Sarah Shuster-Tucker, Allison Lansell, Amanda Lansell, David Shuster-Tucker, JennaLee (Kyle) Simon and Korinna Tucker and two great grandchildren Gavin Abbott, Jamison Curry as well as many nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 12:00 PM at St. Ann Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Dyer officiating. Friends and family will be received at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown funeral home from 11:00 AM till 11:45AM. Interment will take place at Grandview cemetery, Sebring, Ohio. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Joe's honor to St. Ann Catholic Church or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
