Gene was my prayer partner before worship services every Sunday morning for many years. I always looked forward to that special time because God met with us. His walk with the Lord was steady and consistent.

Gene was such a friend to me when I was going through some tough times during my high school years. He and Martha opened their home to me and so much kindness was expressed by just letting me hang with him and the family.
