Edward L. Mellinger

Edward L. Mellinger 69, of Salem passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Blossom Nursing Home. Edward was born in Salem on November 2, 1947 the son of the late Nelson and Edna (Coy) Mellinger. Ed has been a lifelong area resident and worked at Sparkle Market for over 20 years.

Survivors include a son Eric Mellinger, a daughter Shannon Mellinger, brother Jim Mellinger of Salem, he is also survived by a niece and nephew Richard Phillis II and Marvel Phillis both of Salem. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
