Doris M. (Jordan) Parson

Doris M. Parson, 83 of Sebring passed away on Saturday May 27, 2017 at Alliance Community Hospital. Doris was born in Alliance on September 18, 1933 the daughter of the late Charles F. and Marie (Beech) Jordan. She was a 1951 graduate of Sebring McKinley High School and worked at Sparkle Market in the Deli Department. Doris enjoyed making all kinds of Arts and Crafts, listening to music and dancing; but most important to her was spending time with her family and friends.

            Survivors include her sons: Clyde William (Lois) Pennell of Salem, Larry (and the late Mary Ann Helman) Pennell of Columbiana, Jeff (Kathy) Pennell of Columbiana, Dave (Diana) Pennell of Alliance, Greg Pennell of Philadelphia, PA, and Les Pennell of Sebring; four grandchildren Ryan Pennell, Heath Pennell, Les-Lee Pennell, Christopher Pennell, a great grandchild Carter Pennell. She is also survived by her two brothers Edward Jordan and James (Carol) Jordan, a sister Jean Brienza, many nieces and nephews and her best friend Wanda Phillips. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by granddaughter Lisa Marie Pennell, two brothers Charles Jordan, Dave Jordan, and a sister Mary Jane Watkins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM at the funeral home.  Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park.
