Donna J. (Shively) Singleton

Donna J. Singleton 87, of Alliance passed away at Mercy Medical Center on March 18, 2017. Donna was born in Alliance, on August 19, 1929 the daughter of the late Robert V. and Roxie (Koon) Shively.  Donna was a member of the First Church of Christian Science, Boston Massachusetts .  All her life she enjoyed her many family functions and being with her family and her many pets.  She especially enjoyed her vacations and trips to Cook's Forest with her family.

 Survivors include her two daughters, Debbie (Les) Weibush of Alliance, Nancy (Dave) Crewson of Sebring; a son David (Teresa) Baker of Louisville, six grandchildren; Nathan (Leslie) Weibush of Pickerington, Ohio, Ryan (Bri) Weibush of Missoula Montana, Michael (Nancy) Baker of Westlake, Ohio, Julia Baker of New York City, NY, Rachel Crewson of Sebring, David Crewson of Sebring and Jill (Barry) Ledoux of Hudson, FL, and one great grandchild, Cortlandt Weibush. She is also survived by a sister Joan (Ferd) Pelich of Sagamore Hills, Ohio, brother Robert Shively of North Benton, sister-in-law Janice Shively and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Howard “Jack” Singleton, a brother Charles Shively, a sister, Wanda Akins and 2 sisters-in-law, Mavis Singleton and JoAnn Shively.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown funeral home in Sebring with Pastor Lynn Moore officiating. Visitation will be held the hour prior to the service on Friday from 12-1 PM. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
