Arlene L. (Lindberg) Nordquest

Arlene L.Nordquest, 86 of Salem passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 4, 1932 the daughter of the late Nils and Hildur (Anderson) Lindberg. Arlene was a 1950 graduate of Willoughby Union High School; she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and leading a faith based life she will be remembered for teaching Sunday School classes for all different age groups. However most important to her was spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her two sons; Roger (Mary) Nordquest of Sebastian, FL and Richard (Diana) Nordquest of Salem, four grandsons; Keith (Jennifer) of Florida, Matthew (Michele) of New Hampshire Brian (Jessica) of North Benton and Michael (Kirstie) of California. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; Jonathan, Victoria, Juliet, Owen, Madelyn and Levi, a brother in law Ted Anderson and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Dean who died on October 16, 2012 and a sister Louise Anderson.

A Memorial Service will be held on August 10, 2018 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Salem at 11:00 AM with Rev. Alan Smearsoll officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the church the hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
