Alice Ward Obituary

Alice M. (Hartzell) Ward 85, of Beloit passed away at home on December 18, 2018 surrounded by her family. Alice was born on February 6, 1933 the daughter of the late John and Clara (Helsel) Hartzell. She worked as a Plate Maker at MPI Labels for over 50 years retiring in 2016. Alice enjoyed crocheting, gardening (were she could be found always trying to find space to plant more), collecting Precious Moments figurines and especially spending time with her family.

Alice is survived by a son Walter Ward III; a daughter in law Roxann Ward, her granddaughters; Heather (Jeremy) Kufleitner and Heidi (Marcus Jackson) Ward, great grandchildren Desiree Bryant, Isaiah Jackson, Calleigh and Wyatt Kufleitner. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son Brian L. Ward and 9 siblings.

No services will be held at this time per Alice's request. The family would like to thank Columbiana EMS and Alliance Hospice for their care and compassion.
