Sheryl (Meiter) Crawford

Sheryl (Meiter) Crawford 73 of Salem passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Community Care Center in Alliance. Sheryl was born in Salem, Ohio on September 11, 1946 the daughter of the late Gustav and Leatrice "Pat" (McGowan) Meiter. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Salem and retired from Rite Aid in 2011 as a Pharmacy Technician.

Survivors include her two daughters; Jaynie (Brad) Vasko of Cambridge, Ohio and Alison (Edward) Smith of Sunbury, Ohio. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; Dillin Smith, Hailey Vasko, Clay Vasko, Avery Vasko and her companion John Horn. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jay Crawford whom she married on June 22, 1968 and passed away on January 4, 2012.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Salem with Rev. Alan Smearsoll officiating. The family will recieve friends at the church the hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit, Ohio.
