William R. Wagmiller

William R. Wagmiller, 76 of Alliance passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Alliance Community Hospital. William was born in Alliance, Ohio on October 29, 1939, the son of the late Ernest and Ferna (Crawford) Wagmiller. William served in the United States Army.  He worked for Tru Cut as a press operator for over 20 years and currently worked at Heggy’s of Alliance. William enjoyed taking his Monte Carlo to car shows, watching NASCAR and going on senior center trips but most of all he enjoyed spending his time with family and friends.

Survivors include three children Kim (Mike) Wyss of Beloit, Scott (Kitty) Wagmiller of Hanoverton and Sarah (Jared) Akins of Mechanicstown; two brothers Charles (Marlene) Wagmiller and Eugene (Cathy) Wagmiller both of Lousiville, Oh.; and 6 grandchildren Elizabeth, Scott, Megan, Nichole, Mikala and Morgan. William was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Hinkle officiating.  Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at the funeral home and an hour prior to the service on Monday.  A private family burial will take place in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in William’s honor to the charity of your choice.
