Ruth A. (Haberland) Adams

Ruth A. Adams, 83 of Sebring passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Essex II in Salem. Ruth was born in Alliance, on May 22, 1933, the daughter of the late Herman & Julia (King) Haberland.  She worked as a legal secretary at Morgan Engineering and Delmar Victor in California, retiring after 15 years.  Ruth enjoyed watching TV, especially football, movies, gambling, and playing cards.  She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Her humor and laughter were shared with everyone she knew.

Survivors include her son Ted (Carol) Adams of Aurora, Colorado, daughter Julee Common of Alliance; two grandchildren, Stephanie Waterbeck and Brooke (Gary) Evans; five great grandchildren Brendon Syme, Corey Syme, Cameron Syme, Collin Evans, and Keirsten Evans.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Eugene Haberland and three sisters, Dorothy Mergenthaler, JoAnn Oswalt and Mary Brunt.

A funeral service will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral on Monday November 28, 2016 at 4:00 PM with Pastor Mike Kimball officiating.
