Raymond L. Sunderman

Raymond L. Sunderman, 88 of Columbiana passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Parkside Medical Center. Ray was born in Salem on January 12, 1929. He was a US Air Force veteran and retired from Deming Pump. Ray attended Trinity Gospel Temple, he enjoyed the outdoors, loved to work with wood building all kinds of things and traveled throughout the US with his wife after his retirement.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years Betty (Bonsall) Sunderman whom he married on February 3, 1951, his three children; Raymond (Barbara) Sunderman Jr. of Berlin Center, Cheryl (Richard) Miller of Kiln, MS, Diana (William Young) Reeder of Lisbon, six grandchildren Brian (Melissa) Sunderman, Rebecca Johnson, Melissa (Carl) Keenan, Angela (James) Krause, Brad Reeder, Krista (Dan Wandery) Reeder and 7 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters Virginia Hull, Margaret Helmick, and Nancy Lewis. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Julian Sunderman, William Sunderman and a sister Sarah Hippley.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Raymond's honor to Hospice of the Valley 1120 Village Plaza, Columbiana, OH 44408.
