Kermit Dean Kempf

October 30, 1941 ~ November 29, 2016 (age 75) 75 Years Old

Kermit Dean Kempf, 75 of Canton passed away at Mercy Medical Center on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. Kermit was born in Canton on October 30, 1941 the son of the late Clyde and Margaret (Owens) Kempf. He worked as a Truck Driver for Fleming Foods and was a volunteer firefighter serving in the position of Assistant Chief. Kermit enjoyed fishing, camping and was a member of the Myers Lake Sportsman’s Club. But most important was the time he spent with his family especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Joyce (Stage) Kempf, a daughter Kimberly (Dale) Kempf-Stickler, three grandchildren Phylicia, Alyssa and Joshua. He is also survived by a brother Clyde Kempf Jr. and two sisters Shirley Ferguson and Eileen (Bill) Kobel.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel/Mausoleum at Sunset Memory Gardens in Canton.
