Katherine C. (Endikos) Dickson

Katherine C. Dickson, 89, of North Benton passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 at Alliance Community Hospital.  Katherine was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on March 6, 1926 the daughter of the late Nicholas and Ella (Smith) Endikos. She worked at Heggy’s Restaurant as a waitress for 18 years and attended Emmanuel Lutheran Church.  She was a member of the W.A.C.’s, and the George D. Worth Post American Legion Auxiliary where she served as a past president.

Survivors include her 3 daughters; Connie Funk of Florida, Kathy Rogers of North Benton, Linda (John) Ciotti of Alliance a son Dale (Bonnie) Dickson Sr. of North Benton, a sister Margaret Hazelbaker; 19 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ray M. Dickson whom she met while they both were serving in the US Army during World War II, whom she married on August 18, 1945; a brother James Endikos, son Mark A. Dickson, a grandson Kevin Dickson, two great grandson’s Jahidi and Dillin Dickson, and sons-in-law Eddie Rogers and Donald Funk.
