Irene A. (Bloch) McEldowney

Irene A, McEldowney 89 of Canton and formerly of Beloit passed away at Bethany Nursing Home in Canton after a brief illness.  Irene was born in Olean, New York on December 2, 1926 the daughter of the late Leeon N. and Ethlyn I. (Bowser) Bloch.  Survivors include her two children; a daughter Lynne Stieb of Canton, a son Mel McEldowney of Oak Harbor, OH, 2 grandchildren; Neil McEldowney of Akron and Melinda McEldowney of Alliance, four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul on March 10, 2007, nine brothers and three sisters.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel at Fairmount Memorial Park in Alliance with Pastor Mike Kimball Officiating.
