Ida B. (Cummings) Roberts

Ida B. Roberts, 86 of Sebring, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Alliance Community Hospital.  She was born on August 16, 1929 in Sebring, the daughter of the late George S. & Augusta M. (Carrier) Cummings.  She was a graduate of Sebring High School Class of 1947 and worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for Williams Case Insurance.  Ida was a member of Sebring United Methodist Church, Holly Rebekah Lodge, enjoyed travelling and knitting.

Ida is survived by her husband of 66 years, Kenneth E. Roberts whom she married on December 19, 1949, a daughter Christine A. (John) Maruskin of Rock Springs, Wyoming and many nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Frank Cummings and George Cummings and her sisters Wilda Cummings, Ruth Fites and Audrey Fitting.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev.
