Geraldine (Swiger) Brennan

Geraldine (Swiger) Brennan, 81 of Salem passed away on March 28, 2016 peacefully at home surrounded by her family.  She was born October 8, 1934 in Salem to the late Golden and Mary Swiger.  She married Paul Brennan on November 1, 1957; they raised their four children, and had the pleasure of loving and spending time with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Gerry was a gentle person, who was patient and kind.  She had a servant’s heart, and so much love to give.  Gerry was devoted to her husband and her family was the most important thing to her. She loved spending time with her family, including her sister, and best friend, Bertha Day.  She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years Paul Brennan. She is the beloved mother of Karen Brennan, Patrick Brennan, Cindy (Gary) Wukotich and Darla (Mark) Salley.  She was the loving grandmother to ten grandchildren; and cherished great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by sisters; Bertha Day and Doris Pifer.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Ira Swiger and a daughter-in-law Rose Brennan.

A memorial luncheon will be held from 1PM- 4PM on April 2nd at United Christian Church formerly Goshen Grange 11407 West South Range Road, Salem, OH 44460 for anyone who would like to celebrate Gerry’s life.
