Gary W McIlvain

Gary W. McIlvain, 73 of Sebring passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015 at his home.  Gary was born in Alliance on February 11, 1942 the son of the late Howard and Dora (Meir) McIlvain; he was a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School and worked for UPS for 30 years. Gary was always proud of his numerous safety driving awards during his time at UPS. He loved to ride his Harley but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Survivors include his two sons; Gary II (Amy) McIlvain, Kevin (Fiancé Carly) McIlvain, a daughter Krista Handy; three sisters Shirley (Paul) Hostteter, Connie (Alan) Vanswearingen, Carol McIlvain; three grandchildren Courtney McIlvain, Haley McIlvain, Madison Handy and many nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by both of his parents and a granddaughter Alix Handy.

A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home with Pastor Mike Kimball officiating.  Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Tuesday from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the funeral home.  Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
