She was my aunt. I just found out about this on 4/10/2016. She was one of my favorite people, and a true lady in every sense of the word.

I was appointed to the Niles Fairview UMC in 1978. As a newbie in ministry, Avery and Eloise took me under their wings. I was so blessed to know them both. They served so beautifully together. May they both rest and peace and know the favor of the LORD for all eternity.

My condolences are with the Butler family. In the bible we find hope and comfort. Ps. 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength. A help readily to be found in time of distress."

I am so sorry to hear of Eloise's death. She was a special lady and befriended me when I needed a friend. I learned a great deal from her and have always considered her to be one of the "angels" in my life. She will be greatly missed by many.

She was a great lady!! She and Avery were so kind to us in our early ministry near them in Cleveland Hts. We followed them in Niles where they were dearly loved. They were so good to us in every way. They were like a second set of parents to us. It is a blessing they are reunited now!! Love to all of the family as I know you will miss this great lady.
