Eloise J Butler

Eloise Butler born January 18, 1925, died March 7, 2015.  She was preceded in death by her husband Avery Butler and her son, Timothy Butler.  She is survived by her son, Stephen (Janice) Butler, of Johnson City, TN; her grandson T. Brian Butler of Poquoson, VA, step grandson Neal Griffin of Seattle, WA, great-grandson Benjamin and Joshua Butler both of Poquoson, VA.

Eloise was raised in North Liberty, Ohio and graduated from Butler High School.  She attended Baldwin-Wallace College.  She was married to her husband Avery for 53 years.  Together, they lived in Norfolk, Va.; Brighton, Bloomville, Clyde, Lorain, Cleveland Heights, Steubenville and Niles Ohio during over forty years of Avery's ministry in the United Methodist Church.  In retirement they lived in Lakeside, Ohio and at Copeland Oaks in Sebring Ohio.
