Darrin "Big Jess" Scott Higgins

Darrin “Big Jess” S. Higgins, 51 of Salem, Ohio passed away at the Cleveland Clinic on Saturday, August 19, 2017. Darrin was born in Lincoln Hospital on February 16, 1966. He has lived in the Salem area for 8 years.  He loved music, sports, and action movies. He had a passion for footwear, jewelry and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by his wife Angela K. (Shasteen) Higgins of Salem, his mother Lucille Higgins of the Bronx, three sons Joshua Higgins, Hayden Fuson both of Salem, Quentin Colbert of Columbus, OH, two daughters; Jasmin Higgins of Iowa, Jewel Higgins of Bronx, three grandchildren; Rahzel, Jayla and Ani’yah. He is also survived by four sisters; Michelle (Ronnie) Tipler of California, Cynthia Higgins of Queens, Rhonda Higgins and Veronica Higgins both of the Bronx. Nieces: Arrionne, Queyanni, Shantale, Melissa, Jessica, Tiffany.  Nephews: LeVar, Zaire, Sean. Great Nephews: Kai and Kaloni Thompson. Cousins: Rosella, Mark, Anthony and Howard. His best friend and ex-wife Angelic Higgins as well as his Aunt Sadie.  

A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 @ 3p.m. at Connecting Point Chapel, 12275 Beloit-Snodes Rd.
