Betty M. Zurbrugg, 81, of Sebring, passed away on August 26, 2015 at Crandall Medical Center. Betty was born April 18, 1934, in Beloit, the daughter of the late Robert & Ethel (Court) Weingart. She worked as a decal order processor for Americana Art China and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion.  Betty was a member of Sebring United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school, Bible school, and worked with the Youth Group.  She enjoyed tole painting, antique collecting, bowling, spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her husband of 38 years, Leland whom she married on August 20, 1977; two sons Doug Casto of Hartville, Paul (Kelly) Zurbrugg of Gainesville, Georgia; three daughters Lora (Chris) Chestnut of Hanoverton, Marcy (Alan) O’Leary of Canfield, Beth (Steve) Pumphery of Myakka City, Florida; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother James Weingart and a sister Judie Pinkerton.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Paul R. Casto who passed away May 10, 1976, and a brother Sam Weingart.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at Sebring United Methodist Church on Saturday August 29, 2015 with Rev. Norma Bates officiating. Friends may call Friday evening August 28, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made in Betty’s honor to Sebring First United Methodist Church 126 W. Indiana Ave. Sebring, OH 44672.
