Betty Jane (Marroulis) Borrelli

Betty Borrelli, 89 of Salem passed away peacefully in her sleep on the evening of June 12, 2017. Betty was born on July 10, 1927 the daughter of the late Theodore and Daisy (Swagger) Marroulis; she was a 1945 graduate of Canfield High School. She married her husband William “Bill” Borrelli on June 2, 1953 and they were together until his passing on January 2, 2013. After her retirement in 1989 from American Standard she enjoyed feeding her grandchildren and their many friends along with all the neighborhood kids; she will be remembered as always staying very active in many things throughout her life.

She is survived by two sons; Rex Borrelli and Eric (Patti) Borrelli both of Salem, two daughters Dena Peison and Lisa (Leslie “Bud”) Regal also both of Salem, five grandchildren; Glenn Peison Jr. of Stone Mountain, GA, Mallory Borrelli of Canton, Bill Borrelli of Salem, Leia Peison of Salem and Marra McFarland of Salem. She is also survived by her great grandchildren who loving called Betty “Old Grandma” Isaac McFarland and Amora Rand, a sister Nyla Lambert of Bristol, VA a brother Bob Marroulis of Meadville, PA she will was loved and will be missed by many. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband, a son-in-law Glenn Peison, a brother Louie Marroulis and a sister Vi Treehorn.

There will be a Private Graveside service held at Hope Cemetery.
