Barbara Jean Hendricks

October 11, 1934 ~ August 26, 2017 (age 82) 82 Years Old

Barbara Jean Hendricks, 82 went home to be with her beloved Lord and Savior on Saturday, Aug 26, 2017 @ 12:10 a.m. surrounded by her Family at Crandall Medical Center, where she has resided for the past 6 years. Previously Barbara and her late husband Paul lived in Beloit, Ohio for 54 yrs.

Barbara was born on October 11, 1934 in Minerva, Ohio to the late Nellie M. (Jones) Eaton and Paul H. Jones.

Barbara was a member of the Beloit Friends Church, where she and her husband together established and taught the Kids Club. She was employed, for several years,by Church Budget in Salem. She LOVED BEING WITH HER GRANDCHILDREN and playing Skip-bo, uno and other games. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband and playing scrabble, till all hours of the night, with Ann Hendricks.

Barbara is survived by : a brother John P. Jones of Texas, four daughters, Diana Brubaker-Smith (Jerry) of Sebring, Christina (Tony) Moracco of Salem, Debra (Randy) Yakubek of Salem, Gina (Randy) Stull of Homeworth and a daughter-in-law Jean Hendricks of Guilford Lake; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She also has many nephews and nieces. Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by her loving husband Paul D. Hendricks Sr. (2011), a son Paul D. Hendricks Jr. (2012), a grandson Xavier Hendricks and a sister Kay (Hall) Gregory.

A Celebration of her life will be held at Sebring Presbyterian Church, 525 N. 16th St., Sebring, Ohio on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Marty Radcliff (Sebring Presbyterian) and Pastor Mark Reich (Beloit Friends Church) officiating. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions can be made in Lieu of flowers to the Employees Christmas Fund, Crandall Medical Center, 800 S.15th St. Sebring, Ohio 44672.

The Family would like to thank all the nurses, aids and staff (floor 2) at Crandall Medical Center and Hospice of Alliance for all their gentle, loving care they gave to our beloved mother for the past six year.
