David D. Bertolini

U.S. Veteran

David D. Bertolini, 78, of Sebring passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 20, 2012. He was born in Alliance, Ohio on August 13, 1934 the son of the late Orlando C. and Mary J. (Bianchini) Bertolini. David was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring, and wasa 4 year veteran of the US Air Force and retired from Transue and Williams. He was an over 40 year member of the Sebring Model Railroad Club and enjoyed building his own model train cars from scratch, he was also a member of the Sebring Historical Society and like to collect old photos and taking pictures. Survivors include his wife of 48 years Mary Nelle (Frederick) Bertolini of Sebring, two sons; William D. (Brenda) Bertolini of Alliance and John R. (Chandra) Bertolini of Sebring, and four grandchildren; Dominic, Olivia, Ben and Gabe. He is also survived by a sister Mary (Tim) Furry of Alliance and six nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Janet Utley. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring with Fr. Witmer officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 AM – 10:45 prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery with military honors provided by the Salem Honor Guard. Memorial contributions can be made in David’s honor to the Alliance VNA/Hospice Sawburg Ave. Alliance OH 44601.
