Jack William Ward, 78 of Alliance, Ohio went home to be with Jesus on Friday December 14, 2012 at McCrea Manor. Jack was born in Sebring, Ohio on May 16, 1934, the son of the late Chelsea R. & Olive E. (Hopkins) Ward Sr. Survivors include his two sisters, Viola Stockburger of Alliance, Rachel Witherspoon of Alliance; several nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers Chelsea Ward Jr. and Kenneth Ward. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 18, 2012 at 2 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Rod Doran officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home the hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Sebring, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made in Jack’s honor to the Juvenile Diabetes Association 26 Broadway 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004.
