U.S. Veteran

Okey F. Yoho, 77, of Beloit passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Alliance Community Hospital. Okey was born in Big Run, West Virginia on June 9, 1935 the son of the late Francis Clarence & Dessie (VanDyne) Yoho. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked as an auto mechanic. He was an area resident since 1957 and enjoyed playing cards. Okey is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Wilma (Morris) of Beloit, a son Craig (Amy) Yoho of Columbiana, a daughter Christine (Mark) McLaughlin of Alliance; 5 grandchildren, Dylan McLaughlin, Madelyn McLaughlin, Shyra Yoho, Charay Yoho, and Ciera Yoho. He is also survived by a brother Richard Yoho of Kodol, West Virginia and a sister Ada Long of Clarksburg, West Virginia. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by five sisters, Garnet Pyles, Florence Whan, Lucille Parks, Mary Utt , Opal Huggins and two brothers Jerry and William. A Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home at 6:00 PM with Pastor Randy Payne officiating and military honors provided by the Sebring Honor Guard. Friends may call the hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com.
