Margaret I. “Peggy” Edie, 74 of Sebring passed away at Mercy Medical Center on Sunday, November 4, 2012. Peggy was born in Alliance on December 4, 1937, the daughter of the late Frank and Marguerite (Fultz) Greiner. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Sebring, the American Legion and VFW and worked as a Beautician; she especially enjoyed bowling, even playing on the Alliance and Sebring Leagues. Survivors include her four sons; Steve (Debra) Edie of Damascus, Mark (Jody) Edie of Sebring, Mike Edie of Sebring, Frank (Tonya) Edie of Homeworth, two daughters Debbie (Sam) Martig of Sebring and Pat Edie of Alliance. She is also survived by two brothers Chuck (Marianne) Greiner of Beloit, Frank (Barbara) Greiner of South Carolina, sisters Pat Woolf of Beloit, Sherry Lynn (Ed) Harrison of Uniontown and three sisters in law Katherine Greiner, Mary Ann Greiner and Phyllis Gang all of Alliance, 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles on April 16, 2006, a brother Jerry and a great grandson Aiden. Per her request private services will be held. Memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the Jake Scott Scholarship Fund, the Dan McVicker Scholarship Fund or the West Branch Athletic Boosters.
