Thomas Michael Young Sr., 70 of Alliance passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the Alliance Community Hospital ER. Thomas was born in Alliance on January 5, 1942 the son of the late Howard and Josephine (Carrozzi) Young. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and worked at JP Investments in Waco, Texas. Mr. Young was a member of the Alliance American Legion and enjoyed hunting and fishing but he especially like to spend as much of his time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his four children; Thomas M. (Joanie) Young Jr. of Alliance, David Young of Norfolk, VA, Cheryl Parson and Patty Young both of Alliance. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; Wendie Anderson, Jonah Anderson, Andrea Parson, Justin Balderson, Corey Balderson, Thomas Young III, Kenneth Young, and Sabrina Young, four great grandchildren; Theresa Jones, Devon Jones, Danielle Anderson and Steven Anderson and a sister Mary Geiger of Youngstown. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 11:00am at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Payne officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00pm till 8:00pm with the family present from 6-8pm. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit with Military Honors provided by the Salem Honor Guard.
