Jack E. Keenan

Jack E. Keenan, 83, of Beloit passed away on August 18, 2012 at Alliance Community Hospital. Jack was born on September 7, 1928 the son of the late Alex and Theo V. (Hamilton) Keenan; he was a Toronto High School graduate and retired from Ohio Edison after over 40 years of service. Jack was an avid collector and was a member of Pine Lake Christian Church. Survivors include his two sons David E. (Evelyn) Keenan and Richard L. (Anna) Keenan, a daughter Jill L. (Tim) Hamon, all of Alliance, 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Sally Miro of Daytona Beach Shores, FL. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Beverly L. (Wilkinson) on September 20, 2010 and a brother Robert. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home with Mike Bratton officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 6-8 PM and the ½ hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Jack’s honor to the Alliance Salvation Army 57 West Main Street Alliance, OH 44601 or the Alliance DAV 9540 McCallum Avenue NE Alliance, OH 44601.
